Behavior Guidance for Infants & Toddlers:
Targeted Strategies to Build Social Emotional Skills

There are a number of strategies that can be used to support the social emotional development or competence of very young children. There is a centralized focus or recognition that families, caregivers and young children come to the relationship with unique strengths and needs that both grow and change over time. This workshop focuses on the area of Targeted Strategies for Social and Emotional Skills including Emotional Literacy, Play and Friendship Skills.

Speaker

Dana Ellingson is an active Mother of two and consultant and professional development trainer who specializes on strategies to increase the quality of care for early childhood programs and developmental success for all children. With over 20 years in the Early Childhood Education field, Dana has been directing and leading child care programs for over twelve years. She is endorsed through MN Achieve as an approved Trainer, Health & Safety Coach and Infant and Toddler Specialist.
